Do you clean appliances like ovens or inside refrigerators?The outside of kitchen appliances and the inside of the microwave are cleaned every time. Inside appliances, such as ovens and refrigerators, are cleaned upon request.

Can I request special tasks or add-ons?Yes! Tasks like baseboards, changing linens, and light fixtures can be requested. However, Emma may decline a request if it falls outside of her experience or comfort level.

What’s not included in the cleaning service?Refresh & Revive Home Cleaning focuses on general cleaning tasks, so while we take care of most surface-level cleaning, there are a few things we don’t handle unless discussed beforehand. These include: Dishes, laundry, or organizing Moving heavy furniture or decluttering Exterior window cleaning (unless easily reachable) Inside appliances like ovens or fridges (unless requested) Pet waste cleanup or biohazard materials If there’s something specific you’d like done that’s outside the usual scope, just let Emma know! She’s happy to chat about it and see if it’s something she can help with.

Do you provide weekend or holiday cleanings?Due to the nature of being a one-woman business, Emma does not offer cleaning on weekends or major holidays.

Will you check in with me before the cleaning?Yes! Emma will always check in with you a day before your scheduled cleaning to confirm the appointment and make sure everything is set. Rest assured, she will never enter your home without your notice and consent. Your comfort and security are top priorities, and she ensures clear communication before any cleaning takes place.

What if someone in my household is sick?If someone in your household is sick and may be contagious, Emma kindly asks that you reschedule your cleaning appointment. This helps keep everyone safe and allows Emma to continue providing services to other clients without spreading illness. Thank you for your understanding!

How do I book a cleaning appointment?First-time clients can request a free walk-through on the homepage. Emma will respond within 1–2 business days with available dates. After your first cleaning, you can contact her directly to schedule future appointments.

What’s your cancellation policy?A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations are subject to a fee of 25% of the estimated amount.

How long will the cleaning take?Cleaning time varies depending on your home’s size and condition. An estimated time will be provided after a walk-through.

How do I prepare for a cleaning appointment?It’s appreciated when clients tidy up (e.g., clearing the sink, picking up toys), though it’s not required. A tidier space allows for quicker cleaning and better value. Note that dishes, laundry, and organization are not part of the service unless otherwise agreed.

Is there anything different about the first cleaning?Yes, the first-time clean usually takes longer as Emma adjusts to the layout of your home and addresses areas that may have been missed in previous cleanings. She will also request to walk through the house with you to discuss expectations—this walkthrough is free of charge.

Do I need to crate my pets during the cleaning?Please crate your dogs if you are not home during the cleaning, as they may respond to a perceived intruder or may be interested in their new guest. If you are home, please use your discretion based on your pet’s comfort level with guests and whether they may interfere with an efficient clean.

How do you price your services?Emma charges by the hour to reflect the size and condition of each home. The more clutter-free the space, the more efficiently the cleaning can be done.

What happens if something gets damaged during cleaning?Emma is fully insured through Refresh & Revive Home Cleaning. If any damage occurs due to her or her equipment, it will be handled responsibly through liability insurance.

Here’s how she protects it: All personal information, including addresses or access codes, is kept safe and only shared with trusted parties when absolutely necessary.
